Major Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage took out complete regions, initially impacting images and S3-dependent applications before expanding in severity to include issues with other services, including storage gateway issues. Cascading effects caused maintenance pages beginning around 2:11 ET. Things started to resolve around 5:33 pm ET.
